We are a brother and sister team from New Zealand. Elleke 12 years old and Alex 10 years old.
We have been in a band called Soul Searchers with our Church for just over a year and have been enjoying it so much that we started writing our own lyrics and putting music to them at the end of 2011 and have continued.
We have just recently finished our first CD with the help of our parents Paul and Kate who have helped us lots. We hope that you enjoy the songs as much as we have enjoyed making them for you.
It has been a really amazing journey to see words on a piece of paper become a song. It has been hard but very rewarding.
At the beginning of 2011 our family really had limited musical knowledge. Dad could play the drums a little and Mum knew a few chords on the guitar. Over the last year and a half we have taught ourselves instruments, mixing, recording, song writing the list goes on. It's been hard work but it pretty cool to produce a CD.
